The Quest Payloader One model rocket kit is one of three Quest model rockets to use TTW Through-The-Wall balsa fin attachment. There are three precise pre-cut slots in the body tube that allow for perfect placement and location of the fins. Also features a semi-transparent payload compartment and parachute recovery system. The Payloader ONE model rocket mixes challenge and high performance.
Quest Skill Level 1 beginner modeler kits may require a little measuring, gluing, sanding and painting. Assembly usually takes 45 to 90 minutes. Drying time for glue and painting could take up to 3 hours.
This kit requires assembly. Hobby glues, finishing supplies, building tools, launch system and rocket motors for launching are not included.
Launch supplies sold separately. Requires Complete Launch System (Q7700), Quest Q-Jet rocket motors with FirstFire Microª Initiators and Recovery Wadding. One 9-volt, snap-top, Lithium battery is required for the Q2 Launch Controller - Not Included.
Also available in Value Packs of 12 (Q5485) and 25 (Q5585) rockets that are perfect for schools, camps, clubs and youth group programs including the Civil Air Patrol, 4H, Starbase and Scouting's Space Exploration Merit Badge requirements.
